Last year, Emerson Ambulance Service hosted this drive for the first time and it was a resounding success. Eric White, an EMT and public relations manager, shared that they collected an impressive amount of $5-7,000. The ambulance was filled to the brim with food, toys, and dog beds. People from Craighead County and Paragould showed extraordinary generosity by contributing. It was a heartwarming sight to see the community come together for a good cause.
This year, they are building on that success and adding a new dimension. As they have started taking in equines, they are now including horse food in the drive. There are horse toys available too, ensuring that all animals are not forgotten. Their goal is to collect even more this year and make a bigger impact.
Those who wish to donate can easily drop off their items at Emerson Ambulance Service located on 1703 E. Nettleton Ave. If you are unable to drop off the items in person, you can also contact Becky McAdoo or Eric White for pickups. The deadline for the food drive is December 26, so make sure to get your donations in on time.
Emerson Ambulance Service's initiative is a beautiful example of how a business can make a difference during the holiday season. By focusing on our four-legged friends, they are showing that kindness knows no bounds. Let's all come together and support this wonderful cause.
