An innovative entrepreneur in the mobile hospitality industry is expanding her unique business model by introducing a food truck made from a repurposed horse trailer. Karie Brooks, founder of Shaken Not Spurred, initially transformed a two-horse trailer into a mobile bar service for events. Now, she has unveiled Clyde, a new food truck crafted from another horse trailer, complementing her original Shelby mobile bar. This expansion allows Brooks to diversify her offerings and cater to a broader range of events, including those where alcohol is not served.

Beyond the introduction of Clyde, Brooks has also ventured into brick-and-mortar operations with an upcoming commercial space opening this month. Located in Mechanicsville, the 1,800-square-foot facility will house both trailers securely indoors, protecting them from environmental wear. The establishment features a consultation room designed to evoke 1970s aesthetics, complete with wood-paneled walls, retro decor, and vintage furnishings. This nostalgic ambiance aims to attract younger generations seeking unique experiences while providing clients with a cozy environment to discuss their event needs.

Karie Brooks exemplifies entrepreneurial spirit through her creative approach to business growth. By blending innovation with nostalgia, she creates memorable experiences that resonate with diverse audiences. Her dedication to expanding services ensures that Shaken Not Spurred remains at the forefront of mobile hospitality. As she embarks on year two of her venture, Brooks continues to inspire others by proving that imagination paired with hard work can lead to extraordinary achievements.
