Mexican-Italian Fusion: The Story Behind Show Me Chuy

Incorporating a blend of cultural influences, Show Me Chuy at 1410 E. Republic Road is setting a new standard for fusion cuisine in the area. Managed by Jesus “Chuy” Garcia, this establishment introduces a menu that marries Italian elegance with the vibrant zest of Mexican cooking. Following its ribbon-cutting ceremony on March 31, Show Me Chuy invites patrons to indulge in its offerings from April 4 onwards.

Garcia, whose familial ties extend to Tony Garcia of Avanzare fame, ensures that every dish resonates with authenticity and flair. Starting April 7, the restaurant will be available for lunch services, opening its doors from 11 a.m. Monday through Thursday and extending hours on weekends. Additionally, beginning April 13, guests can anticipate a sumptuous Sunday brunch experience spanning from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Expanding Horizons: Triple Eights’ New Springfield Location

Triple Eights continues its expansion journey with the unveiling of its third Ozarks-based outlet at 1313 W. Kearney St., Springfield. Operational since March 28, this location exemplifies the brand's commitment to delivering high-quality Chinese cuisine. Open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., it complements the existing Springfield and Republic branches.

With a reputation built on consistency and excellence, Triple Eights appeals to both loyal patrons and newcomers seeking authentic Asian flavors. This strategic addition aims to enhance accessibility while maintaining the same level of service that customers have come to expect.

Luna Modern Mexican: Redefining Tradition Through Innovation

Positioned at 2925 E. Battlefield Road, Luna Modern Mexican distinguishes itself through a contemporary lens on age-old recipes. Having commenced operations on March 31, this eatery champions locally sourced ingredients as part of its mission to deliver sustainable yet sophisticated dining options.

Formerly known as Catrina’s Modern Mexican, Luna operates with extended hours—open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, continuing until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and concluding Sundays at 8:30 p.m. Its approach underscores the importance of supporting regional producers while presenting meals imbued with modern twists that honor their origins.
